My Pretty Little Peahen Pin Keep

I collect old pincushions, so this one was rather fun to create. Penny the Peahen measures approximately 5 ½ inches in diameter and is approximately 8 1/2 inches in height. Her nest is made from a collection of my favorite calico fabrics, and she is made from a coordinating calico fabric. She has hand-charcoaled eyes with little black beads for her pupils. Her head dress is made from rushy wire. She wears a rusty wire necklace decorated with a mini spool of thread and some of my antique mother-of-pearl buttons. Scattered about her nest is an antique bobbin and a few sewing notions. A simply primitive, functional item, bound to be on every collector’s wish list.

This little peahen is an original Fiddlestix Design and comes to you signed and dated, by me, the original designer.
